In 1995, she was admitted to the full-time undergraduate program at the Faculty of Law of Baku State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1999.
In 2000, she was admitted to the master’s program at the same faculty and, in 2002, graduated with distinction, obtaining a master’s degree in Law.

From September 2004 to February 2015, she worked as a Senior Laboratory Assistant at the Department of Economic Law at Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
Since February 2, 2015, she has held the positions of Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economic Regulation.
As of April 20, 2022, she was appointed Associate Professor at the same department on a 0.5 full-time equivalent (part-time) basis.
Since September 9, 2020, Mustafayeva Arabiyya has been appointed as Scientific Secretary of Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
She is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics.
Since February 2, 2015, she has held the positions of Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economic Regulation.
As of April 20, 2022, she was appointed Associate Professor at the same department on a 0.5 full-time equivalent (part-time) basis.
Since September 9, 2020, Mustafayeva Arabiyya has been appointed as Scientific Secretary of Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
She is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics.
